Between David Lynch and one-time producer Deepak Nayar, it's hard to imagine who had more fun on the set of Lost Highway. Laughing, telling stories, showing off their funny haircuts. "Pretty As A Picture" is just casual enough to suggest, in an off-hand way, how a great director works at and thinks about his art. And when Lynch isn't filling his paintings with raw meat, trying to lure bugs, I really admire him.
